Epi-Ready

The trade mark "Epi-Ready" was introduced by Wacker Siltronic in 1989. This process was an enormous achievement for the epitaxy community. Dr. Jörg Schwar, R&D scientist at Wacker, presented the method to the public during a symposium in Strasbourg in 1990. Over the years it has been copied by other companies and is now the industry standard.
